Getting Started with

White Scribbled Underline

Getting started with your first budget can seem like an overwhelming task. Especially if you have a lot of bills and a lot of spending.

I want you to pick ONE category, one area of your life that you know you overspend. It could be groceries, Starbucks, shoes or nails. What it is doesn't really matter.

Your First Budget

I recommend you get started on a full budget plan by categorizing all of the last month's expenses. Once all of your expenses are categorized, you’ll be ready to start.

What's Next?

List all of your income for the month along with a total. If your income is variable, use a low estimate.

Create a Budget

After budgeting for essential and non-essential items, even if there is nothing left of your income, cut $1.00 from somewhere else and put it in this category.
